... to "Spark(ie)" a new conversation with us?

Yea, we know, puns are pretty corny. But that's what you get when 4 nerds/animal lovers come together to build a new breed of software and support for animal rescuers!

At Sparkie, we believe that helping animals begins with helping rescuers. That's why we're working as fast as our tails can wag to build a software product that makes the work of managing a rescue go from overwhelming and at times frustrating, to easy and even enjoyable.

But while we work on the product we also want to make technology in general more accessible to rescues, and rescuers more easily accessible to each other.

So we decided to launch SPARK! an online community where you can come to find content for your rescue that is useful, supportive, and uplifting. We're going to follow a bit of a schedule at first and see where it goes from here...this is what we got so far:

• Tech Tip Tuesday: is where we'll break down technology with an eye towards how to use it for your rescue (in under 15 minutes) every Tuesday
• Rescue Resource Thursday: is where we'll feature best practices we've heard from other rescues or cool things you can think about doing at your rescue. It'll also be a place where we "foster" (another pun! we're on a roll we tell ya!) connections between rescuers
• Poops n Giggles Friday: is where we'll post something funny to start the weekend off on the right paw

This may (and probably will) change a lot over time, but it's a start. Thank you for reading our first post, and for supporting us along the way. Together we can be a new breed of animal rescue software & support.
